A Winter Wedding at Iscoyd park.
Before we get on to the who’s and how’s – heres a behind the scenes video of this tremendous decadent day from Sara & Tony at Marry Me Films…

My brief; high glam, Red Carpet with essence of Dowton Abbey, Dita Von Tesse and lots of attitude…
The usual talented creatives we’re on board – my favourite ‘Flower Magician’ Mat from Red Floral Architecture who just oozes creativity – Ann of Eleventh Heaven exquisite hand made hair accessories and the talented duo Sara & Tony that are Marry Me Films.
For hair we went with sexy waves in a soft vintage waves dramatic eyes and lips but first shots were outside, as soon as we stepped out our tame locks had taken off around us like a whirlwind! No time to re – do so we titivated a little and back to shoot again.
Now somewhere along the line i was persuaded to not only do hair and makeup but model! Its pretty difficult trying to run around behind the scenes in a long gown perfecting hair thats taking off in the wind but i think the results are quite good and it was amazing to get dressed up in these stunning gowns! (Check out the behind the scenes pictures below!)
For those of you that don’t know me, i was recently married and what happens after a day in your perfect dress – you eat everything you’ve deprived yourself of – So i guessing I’ve put somewhere around a stone on! AND, an affair in a photo shoot, i got myself another leading man for the afternoon, the very charming Greg Wilde…
We swished up and down towards the amazing lighting from Typical Type and had such a giggle!
For Rowans makeup we used black, with Makeup Geeks Steampunk, over the top a warm brown with a dark green two tone through it, it gave her eyes a great sully feel. We warmed her pale skin ever so slightly, brought out her cheek bones a bit more and added a dramatic deep red lip in Dark Out from MAC.
For my makeup i opted for smokey reddy browns with a hint of copper using the MAC Burgundy Times Nine palette, and another shade of red for the lips ‘Beet’ from MAC – how amazing is this crown from Ann McKavney at Eleventh Heaven.
Here’s some behind the scenes pics too! Trying to do hair and makeup, running around to save our locks from the wind was impossible. But we looked good doing it!
